Micky Keating’s Horror-Thriller ‘Carnage Park’ Gets Official Trailer & Poster

Micky Keating's Horror-Thriller

IFC Midnight has released the official trailer and poster for Mickey Keating‘s ’70s-set horror-thriller Carnage Park, which debuted in the Midnight section at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year.

Described as a “gritty, grisly homage to the glory days of grindhouse cinema,” the film stars Ashley Bell and Pat Healy along with James Landry Hébert and Michael Villar.

The horrific road movie revolves around a woman, a pair of bank robbers and a deranged ex-military sniper. Carnage Park opens in theaters and VOD on July 1st, 2016. You can see the gut-wrenching trailer below.

The old school trailer tries to sell it as a shocker. I’m genuinely confused but also intrigued. Check out the new poster for the film.

Micky Keating's Horror-Thriller

This pure-pulp thrill ride jumps between past and present as it pieces together the puzzle of a shocking crime. It’s 1978 and a bank robbery gone wrong leaves Vivian (The Last Exorcism’s Ashley Bell) the hostage of two criminals on the run. But things go from bad to off-the-rails berserk when she and her captors wind up on the sun-baked desert outpost of a deranged ex-military sniper (Pat Healy), who ensnares them in his deadly game of cat and mouse. Rising horror auteur Mickey Keating (Pod, Darling) directs this gritty, grisly homage to the glory days of grindhouse cinema.
