New AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON Cast Photo; Plus New Promo Art

Sneak Peek Promo Art

Disney has released a new cast photo from their upcoming Marvel film, and Marvel has also decided to unleash promo art for Avengers: Age of Ultron, featuring Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, the titular villain with a mysterious looking weapon, a Hulk vs Hulkbuster showdown, Thor standing over a fallen army of ultra bots, and all of the ensemble.

The cast image comes from a get-together scene in Tony Stark’s pad (featured in the trailer) and includes a look at newcomer Claudia Kim, who will be playing a new Age of Ultron character Doctor Cho, while also introducing Don Cheadle’s War Machine into the Avengers fold.

When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to The Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.

The Joss Whedon’s Marvel sequel also stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, James Spader, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Paul Bettany, Stellan Skarsgard, Samuel L. Jackson, and Cobie Smulders. Avengers: Age of Ultron will debut in theaters on May 1, 2015.

Also check out some new pieces of promotional art [spoilers ahead], a Reddit user has uploaded to the web, featuring biographies for the Vision and Ultron as well as the Vision phasing through a wall with the new Avengers logo.

Awesome! Everyone thought Ultron would have been first thought of in the past with Hank Pym and Howard Stark working on it.
