New Official GODZILLA Big-Tail Poster

UPDATE: In addition to tail-centric design, hit the jump for another new poster… Here’s another one.

Warner Bros. and Legendary Entertainment have just released a new Godzilla poster for the Gareth Edwards (Monsters) helmed remake of the same name and it certainly gets your heart racing in excitement for this May when the King of Monsters makes his true Hollywood debut.

Last seen Godzilla poster was the one that Austin-based design studio Mondo have commissioned for SXSW festival. Now a new one-sheet shows us why Bryan Cranston – once one of the most feared drug dealers in the country – can’t handle a giant lizard since the King of all Kaiju is just endlessly destroying cities.

As you probably already know, this spectacular adventure also stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, David Strathairn, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, and Ken Watanabe.

An epic rebirth to Toho’s iconic Godzilla comes from a screenplay written by Drew Pearce, Max Borenstein and Frank Darabont, stomping into theaters May 16th, 2014.For those of you in the UK, you can catch it one day earlier on May 15th.
