New Trailer for ‘Captain America: Civil War’ Reveals the New Spidey

Captain America 3

“Hey, everyone,” Marvel and Disney have released the new Captain America: Civil War trailer, which gives us our first look at Tom Holland as the new Spider-Man… Captain Spider-Man.

Looks like the web-slinger joins Team Iron Man members Rhodey (Don Cheadle), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) and Vision (Paul Bettany). Team Cap, meanwhile, counts Bucky (Sebastian Stan), Falcon (Anthony Mackie), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Ant-Man (Paul Rudd).

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, the movie also stars Daniel Brühl, Emily VanCamp, Frank Grillo, William Hurt and Martin Freeman. It opens May 6.

Elsewhere, the trailer teases the epic clash between Cap (Chris Evans) and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.). Watch below:

Those Ditko eyes! Maybe it’s an early CG version of him, but the saturation levels are on point. I dunno, he probably represents hope against the darkened jaded older heroes. Great trailer though.

It looks like the 70’s suit. My guess is that’s the Stark-made suit.

Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War” finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.
