New Trailer for Christopher Nolan’s INTERSTELLAR has Arrived

Paramount has brought online new trailer for upcoming fall blockbuster Interstellar, unveiling a lot of footage of Christopher Nolan’s lead star Matthew McConaughey, as well as Anne Hathaway and Jessica Chastain.

The latest trailer takes McConaughey’s character out into space, but the mystery within still remains under wraps.

So far, Interstellar is about a “group of explorers who make use of a newly discovered wormhole to surpass the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vast distances involved in an interstellar voyage because Earth appears to be dying and it looks like it might involve a food shortage for one.”

The film co-stars Bill Irwin, Ellen Burstyn, Michael Caine, Casey Affleck, Topher Grace, David Oyelowo, Wes Bentley and Matt Damon in a small role.

Interstellar opens in theaters and IMAX on November 7.

Check out the new trailer, cut in such a way that the story seems far more obvious.

Sweet baby Jesus, this is going to be grand! Just don’t let this be another Prometheus with great trailers and the opening sequence followed by two hours of quasi-religious posturing about the meaning of sacrifice.
