New Trailer for Guy Ritchie’s ‘King Arthur’ with Rugged Charlie Hunnam
Seven months after the first King Arthur: Legend of the Sword trailer debuted, the second trailer has finally arrived with even more footage from Guy Ritchie’s period action epic.
Charlie Hunnam stars as the new King Arthur who must battle his tyrannical uncle Vortigern (Jude Law) to reclaim his rightful throne. As the new trailer shows, the sword has been hidden under water for some time, and Vortigern becomes quite worried when the water recedes to reveal Excalibur. So Jude Law is getting Rufus Sewell‘s roles now?
Annabelle Wallis, Katie McGrath, Eric Bana, Djimon Hounsou, Astrid Bergès-Frisbey, Tom Wu, as well as Aidan Gillen co-star in the film which opens May 12th. By the power of Camelot!
Watch the brand-new official trailer which uses Led Zeppelin’s “Babe I’m Gonna Leave You” as a backing track for the action.
When the child Arthur’s father is murdered, Vortigern (Jude Law), Arthur’s uncle, seizes the crown. Robbed of his birthright and with no idea who he truly is, Arthur comes up the hard way in the back alleys of the city. But once he pulls the sword from the stone, his life is turned upside down and he is forced to acknowledge his true legacy… whether he likes it or not.
