New Trailer for ‘The Circle’ Starring Emma Watson & Tom Hanks
STX has brought online the second official trailer for The Circle, director James Ponsoldt’s adaptation of the Dave Eggers novel that stars Emma Watson, along with Tom Hanks, plus Karen Gillan, John Boyega, Bill Paxton, Patton Oswalt, Glenne Headly, Ellar Coltrane, Ellen Wong, Poorna Jagannathan and Nate Corddry.
The story follows a young woman (Watson) who is hired for a big job in the titular tech and social media company that looks a bit like Google, Facebook, and Apple all rolled into one. She learns there’s more to their data collection than it seems – no one is really safe when everyone is always watching.

The Circle is the second Eggers adaptation Hanks will co-star in within one year – Tom Tykwer‘s adaptation of Eggers’s 2012 National Book Award finalist, A Hologram for the King, came out this past April.
