New Trailer for THE MAZE RUNNER Looks Freaking Amazing

I’m aMAZED! Things get all labyrinth-y in the second trailer for director Wes Ball’s The Maze Runner, based on the best-selling post-apocalyptic novel, of course.

I’m getting really sick of YA films, but there’s definitely more footage here than was in the first preview and it certainly lives up to the hype. It doesn’t look like the generic teen rebellion against oppressive government in the post apocalyptic future after all.

The next YA adaptation Hollywood is hoping will hit big, The Maze Runner opens in theaters on September 19, and stars Dylan O’Brien. Kaya Scodelario, Will Poulter, Thomas Brodie-Sangster and Aml Ameen.

Watch the new trailer that gives us a much better look at what appears to be Thomas’( O’Brien) arrival into the Glade. Also view a batch of new posters below.

When Thomas wakes up trapped in a massive maze with a group of other boys, he has no memory of the outside world other than strange dreams about a mysterious organization known as W.C.K.D. Only by piecing together fragments of his past with clues he discovers in the maze can Thomas hope to uncover his true purpose and a way to escape. Based upon the best-selling novel by James Dashner.
