‘Nocturnal Animals’ Unleashes New Full-Length Trailer
Rejoice, fans of Amy Adams! On the heels of the final trailer for Denise Villeneuve’s Arrival, Focus Features has revealed a new full-length trailer for Tom Ford‘s Nocturnal Animals, starring Amy Adams along with Jake Gyllenhaal.
Also starring Michael Shannon, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Isla Fisher, Karl Glusman, Armie Hammer, Laura Linney, Andrea Riseborough, and Michael Sheen, this twisted thriller follows a Los Angeles art dealer working in the upper echelons of the art scene whose past resurfaces when a manuscript from her former flame arrives. Ford brings it to life in a duel storyline.
Ford‘s long-awaited A Single Man follow-up toured the film-festival circuit, including stops at Venice and TIFF, and most critics agreed the performances were stellar. Nocturnal Animals opens in select cities November 18 and goes wide on December 9. Watch the second trailer and grab the new poster below.
I guess I changed my mind. That ain’t a bad thing at all.
A “story inside a story,” in which the first part follows a woman named Susan (Amy Adams) who receives a book manuscript from her ex-husband, a man whom she left 20 years earlier, asking for her opinion. The second element follows the actual manuscript, called “Nocturnal Animals,” which revolves around a man whose family vacation turns violent and deadly. It also continues to follow the story of Susan, who finds herself recalling her first marriage and confronting some dark truths about herself.
