Official ‘Bumblebee’ Trailer is Full of Fun and Classic Transformers

Paramount has released the full-length, official trailer for its Bumblebee, the first live-action Transformers movie not to be directed by Michael Bay.

Set in the 1980s, the new spin-off movie focuses on the heroic Bee and his friendship with a teenage girl named Charlie (Hailee Steinfeld) as he undertakes a secret mission to earth on Optimus Prime’s orders. Directed by Travis Knight in his live-action feature debut, the prequel film co-stars John Cena, John Ortiz, Kenneth Choi, Justin Theroux and Angela Bassett.

When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns this is no ordinary, yellow VW bug.
