Pierce Brosnan to Star in THE EXPENDABLES Sequel

Ex-James Bond star Pierce Brosnan has reportedly agreed to star in the next Expendables sequel, which has been written and star Sylvester Stallone.

Hollywood’s A-List actor said in a recent interview with the ShortList magazine:

The offer has come in for the next ‘Expendables’. I just worked over in Bulgaria with Avi Lerner who makes them. He said ‘Would you like to be in ‘The Expendables’? I’d love to have you’, and I said ‘Why not?’. So we’ll see.

The 60-year-old Irish screen star added:

I have no idea which one it would be, I just said ‘Yes’. It could be seven!

Works for me; The Expendables 4 has already been confirmed by producer Avi Lerner. Meanwhile, The Expendables 3 will hit theaters on August, starring Stallone, Jason Statham and Jet Li, who reprise their roles as leader of the titular group of mercenaries, along with Barney Ross, his second-in-command, Lee Christmas, and martial arts specialist Yin Yang.

Brosnan will next be seen in A Long Way Down, the latest Nick Hornby black comedy to hit the big screen. He’ll star opposite Aaron Paul, Imogen Poots and Toni Collette.
