Despite the fact that film doesn’t open until July 2017, here’s the first still of Johnny Depp as tied-up Jack Sparrow in the fifth installment to Disney’s swashbuckling franchise.

Following a brief hiatus when the actor injured his hand, producer Jerry Bruckheimer decided to clear the air by posting the below still from the new high seas adventure.

Here’s the good news of Depp’s return, which Bruckheimer shared today via social media:

Pirates of the Carribean 5 is written by Jeff Nathanson and will feature: directors Joachim Rønning & Espen Sandberg, Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow, Javier Bardem as Captain Salazar, Geoffrey Rush as Hector Barbossa, Kevin McNally as Joshamee Gibbs, Stephen Graham as Scrum, Martin Klebba as Marty, along with Kaya Scodelario, Brenton Thwaites, Golshifteh Farahani, Adam Brown, Delroy Atkinson, and Danny Kirrane in an undisclosed roles.
