Quentin Tarantino’s HATEFUL EIGHT Gets a Bloody New Poster

We have got a look at the very first poster for The Hateful Eight, Quentin Tarantino’s western follow-up to Django Unchained, which will premiere in the upcoming issue of Empire.

Tarantino confirmed this weekend at Comic-Con that he would be making leaked script called “Hateful Eight” into a feature film after all the fuss and will shoot at the beginning of next year. Yep, he really wants to make this film happen!

Bruce Dern, Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Madsen, James Remar, Amber Tamblyn, Walton Goggins, and Zoe Bell will be starring alongside Kurt Russell. As of yet no release date has been announced.

The poster tells us that the filmmaker’s 8th directorial effort is going to be shot in 70-millimeter Super Cinemascope, while recalls classic posters from the days of yore.

The Hateful Eight follows the steadily ratcheting tension that develops after a blizzard diverts a stagecoach from its route, and traps a pitiless and mistrustful group which includes a competing pair of bounty hunters, a renegade Confederate soldier, and a female prisoner in a saloon in the middle of nowhere.
