Ryan Gosling in Negotiations for BLADE RUNNER 2

Denis Villeneuve Sci-Fi Sequel

Ryan Gosling is reportedly in talks to star in Blade Runner sequel alongside original Blade Runner actor Harrison Ford.

Prisoners director Denis Villeneuve will direct the sequel to the 1982 sci-fi classic from a script by Hampton Fancher (co-writer of the original) and Michael Green. The original’s director Ridley Scott is producing this time around. Shooting is set to begin next summer.

The story takes place several decades after the conclusion of the 1982 original, but neither story details, nor Gosling’s character are being revealed. Hey, girls will not watch Blade Runner 2 anyway. So don’t bother. Lol. The original Blade Runner centered on a man (Ford) working as a police operative who is tasked with chasing down machines called replicants.
