Second Trailer for ‘Despicable Me 3’ Features Gru’s Twin Brother

Illumination Entertainment's Second Sequel

Universal has released a second trailer for Despicable Me 3, the Illumination Entertainment’s second sequel which will see Gru join forces with the flamboyant twin brother Dru (also voiced by Steve Carell), “who is exactly like Gru except with hair, and also different in every way.”

Directed by Pierre Coffin and Minions helmer Kyle Balda, and written by Cinco Paul & Ken Daurio, the film also features the voices of Kristen Wiig as Gru’s newfound love interest Lucy, as well as his little girls Margo (Miranda Cosgrove), Edith (Dana Gaier), and Agnes (Nev Scharrel). Plus Trey Parker (co-creator of Comedy Central’s “South Park”) as the supervillain Balthazar Bratt, a former child star who’s grown up to become obsessed with the character he played in the ’80s.

Gru’s long lost twin emerges and he has to deal with a sibling rivalry.
