Second Trailer for IF I STAY

A second trailer for upcoming drama If I Stay, starring Chloe Grace Moretz, gives fans of Gayle Forman’s YA novel a deeper glimpse into the feature film.

This preview focuses on Mia Hall’s (Moretz) relationship with the sexy Adam Wilde (played by Jamie Blackley) and the tough decisions she faces before her accident, followed by quite a bit more footage of the accident’s fallout than the previously released prologue trailer.

Judging by this trailer, the movie is going to be just as striking and raw as Forman’s debut novel.

R.J. Cutler directed the film from a screenplay by Shauna Cross.

If I Stay opens in the United States on August 22nd.

Mia Hall (Chloë Grace Moretz) thought the hardest decision she would ever face would be whether to pursue her musical dreams at Juilliard or follow a different path to be with the love of her life, Adam (Jamie Blackley). But what should have been a carefree family drive changes everything in an instant, and now her own life hangs in the balance. Caught between life and death for one revealing day, Mia has only one decision left, which will not only decide her future but her ultimate fate. “If I Stay” is based on the best-selling novel of the same name.
