Second Trailer for ‘Rocky’ Spin-Off ‘Creed’ Looks Good

Sly And Jordan

The second official Creed trailer has surfaced on the Internet and it shows a deeper look at the Rocky spin-off, starring Sylvester Stallone alongside Michael B. Jordan.

Re-teaming with Fruitvale Station’s director Ryan Coogler, Jordan plays Adonis, the son of Rocky’s former foe — Apollo Creed. It turns out that Adonis headed for a life in jail, but Rocky decides to train him up himself, even as the former champ has been stricken by cancer.

I am very impressed they were able to get Coogler to direct Creed. The chemistry between Sly and Jordan looks natural. Damn, it looks good! Watch below.

Not gonna lie, I don’t want Rocky to die. Of course, I’m watching it. The film opens on November 25, with a cast that also includes Tessa Thompson, Phylicia Rashad and Anthony Bellew.

Rocky Spin-Off Film

Adonis Johnson (Michael B. Jordan) never knew his father, world heavyweight champion Apollo Creed, who died before he was born. But boxing is in his blood, so he tracks Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) down and asks him to be his trainer, despite his insistence that he is out of the fight game for good. With Rocky in his corner, it isn’t long before Adonis gets his own shot at the title. But can he develop not only the drive but also the heart of a true fighter?
