SLC PUNK! Sequel Gets Teaser Trailer

Here’s the first teaser for the SLC Punk! sequel Punk’s Dead: SLC Punk 2 with Heroine Bob back from the grave in the trailer – Bob always gonna be a Bob, in this world or another.

Four original cast members: Devon Sawa, Adam Pascal, James Duval and Michael Goorjian return to reprise their roles of Sean, Eddie, John the Mod and Heroin Bob.

But don’t expect Matthew Lillard’s Stevo character to be returning for the sequel that also features Ben Schnetzer, Machine Gun Kelly Hannah Marks and Sarah Clarke.

The follow-up to the cult classic comes after a successful Indiegogo campaign which brought in $87,771 in donations to writer/director James Merendino.

SLC Punk 2 will be released on November 21st.

Merendino, who is currently editing the film, described the trailer:

“In this teaser, you will get a glimpse at familiar faces and I briefly introduce Bob’s son, Ross. I am not revealing all of the characters or even much of the story. There’s more, much more. Enjoy.”

Watch it below.

Well, to be honest, I don’t recognize a single one of those characters from the original.

SLC Punk focused on Stevo’s Journey. Punk’s Dead goes back to Salt Lake, 18 years after Bob’s death. It is the Punk Odyssey of Ross, Heroin Bob’s son. Is he also a punk? What impact did Bob’s death have on the scene and his other friends? Is punk still alive in Salt Lake?
