Spoilery AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON Plot Details Revealed!

Possible story details emerge online teasing the first 15-20 minutes of Marvel’s highly-anticipated Phase Two sequel Avengers: Age of Ultron, but take them with a grain of salt.

The Marvel Studios sequel is currently shooting at Shepperton Studios in London. Various outlets will be reportedly invited for the official set visit tomorrow so the rumor mill is churning faster.

“Leaked” story details could be considered spoilers, therefore, read on at your own risk.

Avengers: Age of Ultron starts directly after the end credits scene in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and the opening set piece is a big action scene that involves Baron Von Strucker (Thomas Kretschmann), the monocle-wearing Hydra villain using Loki’s scepter to goose Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) with superpowers.

The Avengers attack Baron Von Strucker’s rogue Hydra outpost to retrieve Loki’s staff, Chitauri weapons and the corpse of a leviathan. As the Avengers move in, both Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch fight alongside Von Strucker, with Scarlet Witch casting a hex on Hulk that makes him think the leviathan is still alive. This causes plenty of rage-fueled smashing from the Green Goliath.

Eventually, the Avengers emerge victorious and head back to the Avengers Tower in New York to throw a big party, where each Avengers takes their turn trying to pick up Thor’s hammer Mjolnir. When Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) tries to pick up the hammer, the arm of his armor falls off. Captain America (Chris Evans) is able to slightly move the hammer, but he still can’t pick it up, although this scene may change since, in the comics, Cap can actually wield Mjolnir.

That would be kinda cool, but I’d rather have Cap being above trying to lift it as a party trick. Here, have some more juicy secrets:

The sequel will show the blossoming relationship between Hulk and Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson). He is afraid to consummate their romance out of fear that he could accidentally hurt her. Things between Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) are not good either. At one point, the Asgardian knight sits at the bar watching her with Richard (Chris O’Dowd’s character from Thor: The Dark World).

Well, this sounds like a Spanish soapy or teenage romance sitcom. It’s hard to believe this is true, but I enjoyed the read and laughed along with the comedy scenes.

Whether this rumor is true or not, I think it will one up Winter Soldier as well as Winter Solider had more action than Marvel’s the Avengers.

Stay tuned. Avengers: Age of Ultron assembles on May 1st, 2015.
