The comic book writer Stan Lee might be known more for his Marvel movie cameos than his comics work and that status isn’t likely to change as he confirmed an appearance in Avengers: Age of Ultron while speaking at the London Film and Comic Con event.

“People that had not been big stars before like the fellow who plays Thor [Chris Hemsworth] – he’s wonderful! I was with him yesterday – I did my cameo of course [for The Avengers: Age of Ultron]. And Chris [Evans] who plays Captain America… He’s excellent.”

But 92-year-old Lee isn’t stopping there and also joked that Batman v  Superman: Dawn of Justice won’t be a success without him:

“DC could probably make a lot more money with Superman and Batman if they announced that I’d have a cameo in it!” Lee said, the Digital Spy reports. “People wouldn’t believe it – they’d have to go to the theater to see it!”

Stan will make his next Marvel cameo in three weeks when Guardians of the Galaxy debuts, and I look forward to this and Avengers 2 cameo.

As for Batman v Superman, I can see it now: “Stan the Man: Dawn of Cameos.”
