STAR WARS: EPISODE VII Subtitled THE ANCIENT FEAR

First of all, it’s never enough for Star Wars fans. The news of the working title for Star Wars: Episode VII comes on the heels of the new Star Wars casting announcement as well as Star Wars Day over the weekend.

According to the AICN blog site, the ‘working title’ for Star Wars: Episode VII is The Ancient Fear.

If the rumor is true, it’s probably used to throw snooping set-side paparazzi off the trail, but their source said:

it refers to Max Von Sydow’s villain who makes Pazuzu look like a pussy!

Therefore,  the title refers to Max von Sydow’s character who will serve as the villain of the film, while the “Pazuzu” reference is the name of the vile demon that serves as the main antagonist in the The Exorcist series, which Von Sydow starred.

It might have hidden meanings, but on the other hand, it could be total BS. Until J.J. Abrams reveals more that’s the way it will have to stay.

What do you guys think of new working title?
