‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ IMAX Poster and New ABC Teaser

J.J. Abrams Sequel

Disney has debuted a new IMAX poster filled with sunshine, while Disney-owned network aired the minute-long teaser for J.J. Abrams heavily anticipated Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which features new scenes between BB-8, Rey, Finn and Han Solo.

The lovable orange and white rolling ball is actually a female droid and is rumored to have a pivotal role in the story. The minute-long clip failed to give us our long-awaited first look at Luke Skywalker, but we got glimpses of aerial fights between Imperial Tie Fighters and the Millennium Falcon, along with a few furry images of Wookiee warrior Chewbacca.

Furthermore, the latest teaser shows Ray and Finn meeting for the first time and there’s a new glimpse of Han Solo as he shot a blaster and handed a weapon to Rey. Princess Leia, who is now a General, is seen at what looked to be a gambling hall with Han, C-3PO and what appears to be Admiral Ackbar by her side. Check it out.

‘Nothing will stand in our way. We’ll show them the dark side,’ said Kylo Ren. The floodgates have begun to open. The mystery box is no more. I have a strong feeling that Oscar Isaac has a particularly large role than the ad campaign is letting on.

Okay, that’s enough. Let’s get back to IMAX. Key sequences of the sci-fi sequel to the most popular movie franchise of all time were shot using IMAX cameras, and when viewed in only in IMAX theaters, these will expand vertically to fill the entire screen.
