Swiss Army Shredder in New TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES Image

Check out a new image of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles villain Shredder aka Swiss Army (lol) played by William Fichtner and ready to face-off with Splinter.

There’s no doubt that the Turtles arch nemesis likes knives and there’s no doubt that this comes from the guys behind the Transformers flicks.

As we wait for the latest Ninja Turtles trailer (played in front of How to Train Your Dragon 2) to pop up, hit the jump to check out a new image from that trailer.

Shredder, who has traditionally been a Japanese guy, now looks like a fricking Transformer or Edward Scissorhands whatsoever.

Directed by Jonathan Liebesman and produced by Michael Bay, TMNT arrives August 8. The film features Pete Ploszek, Noel Fisher, Alan Ritchson, Jeremy Howard, and Danny Woodburn as Turtles and their master Splinter in mo-cap; Johnny Knoxville and Tony Shalhoub provide the voices for Leonardo and Splinter; Megan Fox and Will Arnett co-star.

The city needs heroes. Darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future is grim until four unlikely outcast brothers rise from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles must work with fearless reporter April and her wise-cracking cameraman Vern Fenwick to save the city and unravel Shredder’s diabolical plan.
