The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies is the weakest of the three Hobbit films in regards to plot, and is also the weakest opening of Peter Jackson’s six J.R.R. Tolkien adventures. But the threequel still pulled in $90.6 million in the U.S. and Canada and is still one of the season’s biggest releases.

Christoph Waltz Reportedly Set to Play Bond Villain


Though MGM, Sony and Wilson-Broccoli’s Eon had no comment at this time, the Daily Mail reporter Baz Bamigboye claims that Django Unchained star Christoph Waltz has joined the tentatively titled Bond 24 as the villain.

There, two-time Oscar winner joins Daniel Craig,  Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw,  Lea Seydoux and  Dave Bautista in the upcoming twenty-fourth James Bond film.

The first trailer for the latest Tim Burton film Big Eyes has debuted, starring Amy Adams and Christoph Waltz.

Yep, there’s no Johnny Depp and Burton made a movie about normal people, which The Weinstein Company will release on Christmas Day.

You know, to be honest, I’ve almost completely forgotten about Tim Burton’s upcoming drama Big Eyes.

Thanks to USA Today, we’ve got our first look at the December 25 release, starring Amy Adams and Christoph Waltz as the husband-and-wife Margaret and Walter Keane, whose doe-eyed children paintings became phenomenal in the 1960s.
