So yeah, it’s official now. Creed helmer Ryan Coogler will direct Marvel’s upcoming superhero movie Black Panther featuring Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa, the first black superhero.

“We are fortunate to have such an esteemed filmmaker join the Marvel family,” commented producer Kevin Feige.

Yeah, that was under initial predictions of $120 million, and 16% behind Mockingjay – Part 1, and 36% behind Catching Fire.
