Warner Bros. has confirmed that Reeves will direct and produce the project but the studio’s press release does not even mention Ben Affleck who opted to step away from the director’s chair a few weeks ago to focus on the role of the Caped Crusader.

The highly controversial and critically panned Zack Snyder-directed film, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice crossed $500 million worldwide in just five days, but everyone seems to agree that Ben Affleck is the least of the film’s problems.
Possible Spoilers Ahead: JoBlo today reports that Warner Bros. wants to use 1988’s “A Death in the Family” and 2005’s “Under the Hood” as the basis for the upcoming Ben Affleck-starring solo Batman movie.
