In related news, the studio has made a quick decision to move back the Fantastic Four sequel from June 2, 2017 to June 9, 2017 to avoid a clash with the Rian Johnson-directed Star Wars: Episode VIII.
In a recent Reddit AMA, longtime fan favorite Terry Crews (“Brooklyn Nine-Nine”) revealed that he now wants to play another Fantastic Four-related character — specifically, the Silver Surfer.
When asked who he would be interested in playing, the actor who was pegged for years as being Marvel’s Luke Cage, replied:

Here’s our first look at The Fantastic Four reboot and Michael B. Jordan in his Human Torch suit. Collider debuted the first behind-the-scenes images from Fox’s production in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. One photo shows Jordan with screenwriter Simon Kinberg, while the other is of director Josh Trank on set.

A new synopsis of next year’s The Fantastic Four reboot has appeared on Rotten Tomatoes and it’s bound to make some of you very unhappy. But judging by the quality of the cast, it is already an improvement over the first two.
