Josh Boone has revealed that his adaptation of Stephen King’s massive 1978 novel The Stand will now be four features.

Boone, director of The Fault in Our Stars, dropped the idea of a three-hour-long movie without any hesitation when Warner Bros. offered him the opportunity to instead proceed on the basis of there being a whole quartet of films (we used to call these ‘mini-series’) instead of one.
