Teaser Trailer for the Live-Action ‘Fullmetal Alchemist’ Movie

Hiromu Arakawa’s Manga Series

Warner Bros. Japan has released a first trailer for the upcoming live-action Fullmetal Alchemist movie. The big-screen adaptation of Hiromu Arakawa’s manga series features an all-Japanese cast.

Fumihiko Sori (Ping Pong) will direct the film which stars boy band singer Ryosuke Yamada as the lead alchemist Edward Elric.It is about two brothers who go on a quest for the Philosopher’s Stone after an attempt to revive their dead mother goes horribly wrong. Edward’s little brother Alphonse will be mostly seen through CGI. There’s no word yet on when Fullmetal Alchemist might see a US release.
