UPDATE: Hit the jump to check out two new hi-res images.

Here’s another TV spot released during last night’s MTV Movie Awards — the “Brothers” TV spot for the upcoming live-action reboot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

The newest TV spot offers a brief look at the turtles’ master Splinter (who will be voiced by Tony Shalhoub) as well as new footage of the brothers in action.

Sadly, it lasts only for 30 seconds and most of the footage is recycled from the previous trailer, including the bit in which Donatello launches himself shell-first into Hummer.

Hit the jump to check out glimpses of sensei Splinter brandishing a katana and Will Arnett‘s Vernon Fenwick while clutching a shocked April O’Neil, played by Megan Fox.

The Michael Bay-produced, Jonathan Liebesman-directed movie also stars Jeremy Howard, Pete Ploszek, Noel Fisher, Danny Woodburn, and William Fichtner with Johnny Knoxville as the voice of Leonardo.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is set for release on August 8.

The city needs heroes. Darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future is grim until four unlikely outcast brothers rise from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles must work with fearless reporter April and her wise-cracking cameraman Vern Fenwick to save the city and unravel Shredder’s diabolical plan.
