‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows’ Trailer has New Footage

The Anthropomorphic Teen Reptiles

Paramount Pictures has released an alternate Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows trailer, showing off a few snippets of previously unseen footage of the anthropomorphic teen reptiles and Megan Fox‘s April O’Neil in action.

Earth to Echo filmmaker Dave Green directs, replacing Jonathan Liebesman who helmed the first reboot, although Michael Bay remains heavily involved as the film’s producer.

The returning cast includes Fox, Will Arnett, Johnny Knoxville, and William Fichtner. Alan Ritchson, Jeremy Howard, Pete Ploszek, and Noel Fisher will also reprise their roles as Raphael, Donatello, Leonardo, and Michelangelo. The newcomers include Laura Linney, Tyler Perry as scientist Baxter Stockman, WWE Star Sheamus as Rocksteady, Gary Anthony Williams as Bebop, Brittany Ishibashi as Karai, as well as Stephen Amell as the sports-themed vigilante Casey Jones and Brian Tee as Shredder.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows opens on June 3rd. Check out the new trailer below.

If nothing else, TMNT 2 certainly looks wacky and I am more psyched for this than X-Men. The studio has also unleashed new Bebop and Rocksteady posters and a limited edition one-sheet by Gallery1988 artist Dave Quiggle. Check them out in the gallery below.

The Ninja Turtles come into conflict with T.C.R.I. scientist Dr. Baxter Stockman with the association of the Foot Clan and the return of the Shredder, who has hired Stockman to create mutants of their own in the form of Bebop and Rocksteady and an unknown invasion above New York City. To prevent the end of the world, the turtles and their human friends April O’Neil and Vern Fenwick comes to the aid with vigilante Casey Jones.
