Here’s a better look at Megan Fox as Channel 6 News’ intrepid reporter ‘April O’Neil’ in the Michael Bay-produced Ninja Turtles reboot. Cinematography looks good at least.

Moreover, good people over at IGN have seen the trailer for the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles live-action movie and shared their first (spoiler warning) impression.

The film, which hints at the secret origin of the turtles, has been directed by Jonathan Liebesman from the Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec‘s script, based on characters created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. Ninja Turtles lands in theaters August 8, 2014, co-starring Alan Ritchson as Raphael, Noel Fisher as Michelangelo, Danny Woodburn as Splinter, Jeremy Howard as Donatello, Pete Ploszek as Leonardo, Will Arnett as Vernon and William Fichtner as Shredder.
