TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: Shredder & Splinter Concept Art

Today is obviously the concept art day for Film Cutting: following Akira concept art from director Ruairi Robinson, toy-centric blog Idle Hands has posted images from the book “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Ultimate Visual History,” which showcases concept art for the new big screen versions of Shredder (William Fichtner) and Master Splinter (Danny Woodburn).

These images should closely represent what we’ll see in the upcoming Michael Bay-produced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film reboot which opens in two months, on August 8th, 2014.

It seems like concept Splinter looks way better than final design Splinter, while Shredder looks like a freaking robot, but honestly, it’s hard to judge a movie after only brief glimpses from a trailer.

The latest scans, which also feature the turtles Leonardo (Pete Ploszek), Donatello (Jeremy Howard), Raphael (Alan Ritchson) and Michelangelo (Noel Fisher), are from the same book, which will be published on June 24 from Insight Editions.
