Tense First Trailer Released for ‘A Prayer Before Dawn’

The A24’s Action Film

A24 has released a tense official trailer for Muy Thai boxing drama A Prayer Before Dawn, which received positive reviews when it premiered at the Cannes Film Festival back in May.

Directed by Jean-Stephane Sauvaire, it stars Joe Cole as British boxer Billy Moore, the only Westerner ever to break out of Thailand’s prison, Klong Prem, aka the notorious “Bangkok Hilton.”

The screenplay is written by Jonathan Hirschbein, based on a prior draft by Nick Saltrese, and also stars Vithaya Pansringarm, Panya Yimmumphai, Nicolas Shake, Pornchanok Mabklang, plus the real Billy Moore in a cameo role.
