Arnold Schwarzenegger’s forthcoming Terminator reboot has been officially titled Terminator Genisys! Schwarzenegger made his rounds on social media to announce that his blockbuster has just finished principal photography.

He sent a special message along with a new set photo below:

“Hasta la vista, baby. I want to thank the cast and crew of Terminator Genisys for a fantastic shoot,” he wrote. “It was challenging, it was fun, and it was rewarding. From our director to the producers, from the camera team to catering, from visual effects to hair and makeup – we couldn’t have done it without you. I can’t wait to see our finished project and I know we’ll remind the fans why they fell in love with the Terminator. On July 1, 2015, I’ll be back.”

The project’s been known by Terminator: Genesis, but the title will in fact be the oddly spelled… Terminator Genisys.

Maybe it’s because that’s the name of a corporation  or computer program featured in the movie. There were banners put up with the Genisys logo on the streets of San Francisco while the production was filming there on Monday, August 4, 2014.

Paramount has confirmed that Terminator Genisys is the official title of the film due to arrive in theaters on July 1, 2015 and also stars Emilia Clarke, Jai Courtney, Jason Clarke, Matt Smith, J.K. Simmons, Dayo Okeniyi and Byung Hun Lee.

The film  is directed by Alan Taylor from a screenplay by Laeta Kalogridis and Patrick Lussier. Arnold will reprise his iconic role as an aging T-800 Terminator sent to the past to help save Sarah Connor and her son John, changing the timeline of the original trilogy.
