TERMINATOR GENISYS Debuts Five New Character Posters

Terminator One-Sheets

Paramount Pictures and Skydance Productions have unveiled five new Terminator Genisys character posters featuring Byung-Hun Lee as the T-1000, Jason Clarke as the T-3000, a.k.a. the John Connornator, Emilia Clarke as resistance leader Sarah Connor, Arnold Schwarzenegger as the T-800 and Jai Courtney as Kyle Reese.

Directed by Thor: The Dark World‘s Alan Taylor from a script by Laeta Kalogridis and Patrick Lussier, Terminator Genisys is set to be released on July 1st. The film co-stars J.K. Simmons, Dayo Okeniyi, Matthew Smith, and Courtney B. Vance.

Check out the posters below that show off each generation of cyborg. Possible spoiler: the T-3000 one-sheet doesn’t call him John Connor, which could hint that there’s a twist inside the twist.

The beginning of Terminator: Genisys, the first of three planned films that Paramount hopes will relaunch the beloved sci-fi franchise, is set in 2029, when the Future War is raging and a group of human rebels has the evil artificial-intelligence system Skynet on the ropes. John Connor (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes’ Jason Clarke) is the leader of the resistance, and Kyle Reese (Divergent‘s Jai Courtney) is his loyal soldier, raised in the ruins of post apocalyptic California. As in the original film, Connor sends Reese back to 1984 to save Connor’s mother, Sarah (Game of Thrones‘ Emilia Clarke), from a Terminator programmed to kill her so that she won’t ever give birth to John. But what Reese finds on the other side is nothing like he expected.
