‘Terminator: Genisys’ Sequel Removed from 2017 Schedule

Sequel Removed From Schedule

Another movie-related postponement and schedule change: Paramount Pictures announced that the follow-up to their under-performing Terminator: Genisys has been bumped in favor of Dwayne Johnson’s Baywatch film.

The sequel to the critically panned Genisys had been planned for release May 19th 2017, but instead Paramount is dropping in their R-rated remake of the corny ’90s series. How humiliating.

The news of the Terminator 2 cancellation comes hot on the heels of the Star Wars: Episode VIII postponement.

The studio had also carved out a June 2018 release date for a third Terminator movie in the newly refreshed series.

No kidding, Terminator: Genisys was bad. It was boring and seemed to go on forever. The series needs a new direction desperately. Otherwise, the brand will be damaged forever.
