The Final ‘Shape of Water’ Trailer is Out

Guillermo del Toro's Monster Thriller

Fox Searchlight Pictures has released the final trailer for Guillermo del Toro’s The Shape of Water, which won the Golden Lion for best film at this year’s Venice Film Festival.

Starring Sally Hawkins, Doug Jones, Michael Shannon, Octavia Spencer, Richard Jenkins, and Michael Stuhlbarg, the film is a fairy tale-thriller-romance about a lonely and mute woman who falls in love with a mysterious merman.

The screenplay is written by del Toro and Vanessa Taylor. The ratings board gave the movie an R for “sexual content, graphic nudity, violence and language.” Well, this one feels like a wild and eclectic ride. Take a look at the full red band trailer below.
