The First EVEREST Trailers Look Intense

Jason Clarke

Universal Pictures has delivered the first domestic and international trailer for their climbing adventure film Everest that will leave you breathless.

The star-studded ensemble cast includes Jake Gyllenhaal, Jason Clarke, Josh Brolin, John Hawkes, Robin Wright, Michael Kelly, Sam Worthington, Keira Knightley, and Emily Watson. A surprisingly strong cast for a film of this nature.

Directed by Baltasar Kormakur, and shot on location in Nepal and the Italian Alps, it looks and feels real, which is important because Everest is based on the real events of the 1996 Mount Everest disaster and bestselling non-fiction novel ‘Into Thin Air: A Personal Account of the Mt. Everest Disaster’ by Jon Krakauer.

This epic adventure will open in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D on September 18th.Watch the first two Everest trailers and check out the poster below.
