The First ‘Lego Batman Movie’ Trailer is Out

Warner Bros. Pictures has now released the first trailer for The Lego Batman Movie, The Lego Movie‘s spinoff surrounding Will Arnett‘s hilarious Caped Crusader character.

Also featuring Rosario Dawson as Batgirl, Ralph Fiennes as Alfred Pennyworth, Michael Cera as Robin, Zach Galifianakis as The Joker, and Mariah Carey as Mayor Marion Grange, the film will open in theaters on February 10, 2017. Chris McKay is directing The Lego Batman Movie from a script by Seth Grahame-Smith.

Check out the trailer below, which shows off irreverent LEGO Batman in his lonely existence in the Bat Cave.

At last, the Batman we deserve. Already better than the joyless Batman v Superman. Wouldn’t be surprised if the trailer is going to be attached to Dawn of Justice.

The Lego Movie's Spinoff

In the irreverent spirit of fun that made “The LEGO® Movie” a worldwide phenomenon, the self-described leading man of that ensemble – LEGO Batman – stars in his own big-screen adventure. But there are big changes brewing in Gotham, and if he wants to save the city from The Joker’s hostile takeover, Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up.
