The Full-Length Trailer for Eli Roth’s THE GREEN INFERNO

Following the release of the first teaser last month, Open Road Films has debuted the full-length trailer for Eli Roth‘s jungle cannibal film The Green Inferno that digs deeper into the plot.

Directed, co-written, and produced by Eli Roth, the upcoming horror-thriller revolves around a group of student activists who from New York City travel to the Amazon to save a tribe from extinction, but crash in the jungle and are taken hostage by cannibals.

The director also envisioned a twisted tagline for the poster,”No good deed goes unpunished,” which also recently dropped.

There are not many actors with significant box office drawing power – Lorenza Izzo, Ariel Levy, Aaron Burns, Daryl Sabara, Kirby Bliss Blanton, Magda Apanowicz, Sky Ferreira and Daryl Sabara, but the concept of this harrowing tale is the really good one: the middle-class hippie kids are the heroes and the peacefully existing tribe are the baddies.

The Green Inferno – some of you hope for it to be a cannibal flick in the vein of Cannibal Holocaust – is out September 5th.

However, the poster makes it look like one hell of a gang bang. Check ’em both out.
