THE PURGE: ANARCHY Trailer; Chaos Outside the Home

“It’s the day where absolute chaos, murder and crime occurs at night.” Now it’s sure that James DeMonaco’s sequel The Purge: Anarchy gets the full length trailer.

If you’re among those who will never be sold on that cr*p about the Purge “doing good”, you will just ignore the trailer like you ignore commercials. If you look that way, it might not help you get to the point.

Purge-Anarchy-TrailerIt appears that this movie takes a different approach from the first Purge film. I’m glad the sequel doesn’t take place inside a house, but it once again takes place “in a not-so-distant future where one night in an America wracked by crime and overcrowded prisons, the government has sanctioned an annual 12-hour period in which any and all criminal activity–including murder–becomes legal.”

Ahead of film’s July 18th release date, the new cast for The Purge: Anarchy includes Frank Grillo, Michael  Kenneth Williams, Carmen Ejogo, Zach Gilford and Kiele Sanchez.

Watch the first full trailer and see Grillo driving a car (perfectly suited for a Mad Max flick), while looking for revenge.

The New Founders of America invite you to celebrate your annual right to Purge in THE PURGE: ANARCHY. Returning alongside writer/director/producer James DeMonaco to produce the sequel to 2013’s sleeper hit are Blumhouse Productions’ Jason Blum (Paranormal Activity and Insidious series), alongside Sébastien K. Lemercier (Assault on Precinct 13, Four Lovers) and Platinum Dunes partners Michael Bay (Pain & Gain, Transformers franchise), Brad Fuller (The Amityville Horror, A Nightmare on Elm Street) and Andrew Form (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Friday the 13th).
