‘The Shack’ Trailer Starring Sam Worthington and Octavia Spencer
Lionsgate has released the first trailer and poster for The Shack, the new faith-based drama starring Sam Worthington, Octavia Spencer, and Tim McGraw.
Based on a New York Times best-selling novel by William P. Young, the film examines one man’s faith and grief in the wake of a family tragedy. Radha Mitchell, Graham Greene, Gage Munroe, Megan Chapentier, Amelia Eve, Derek Hamilton, Jordyn Ashley Olson and Emily Holmes co-star.
English filmmaker Stuart Hazeldine directs from a screenplay by John Fusco and Andrew Lanham & Destin Cretton. The Shack opens in theaters on March 3. Check out the trailer below.

Based on the New York Times best-selling novel, The Shack takes us on a father’s uplifting spiritual journey. Facing a crisis of faith, he receives a mysterious letter urging him to an abandoned shack deep in the Oregon wilderness. Despite his doubts, Mack journeys to the shack and encounters an enigmatic trio of strangers led by a woman named Papa [Octavia Spencer]. Through this meeting, Mack finds important truths that will transform his understanding of his tragedy and change his life forever.
