Director Peter Jackson has confirmed that the third Hobbit film will be called The Battle of the Five Armies, indicating that the final movie is all about the big battle and not so much Bilbo’s return home.

The sixth and possibly final Middle Earth flick was previously titled There and Back Again, but recent rumors signalized a title replacement and the word was that Into the Fire could be the title of the film. That isn’t the case though.

The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies stars Martin Freeman, Ian McKellan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Richard Armitage, Evangeline Lilly and Cate Blanchett, and will hit 3D, 2D and IMAX 3D theaters on December 17.
