Third Trailer Launches for Russian Sci-Fi Epic ‘Attraction’

Sony Pictures Russia has unveiled a third official trailer for the upcoming action-packed sci-fi extravaganza Attraction (aka Prityazhenie Притяжение), which offers a much better look at alien presence on earth.

Directed by one of the most successful commercial directors in Russia, Fyodor Bondarchuk (Stalingrad), the film is about an alien invasion which took place in Moscow.
Thematically, there are some similarities with District 9.

Starring Oleg Menshikov, Irina Starshenbaum, Alexander Petrov and Sergei Garmash, Attraction is set for release in Russia in IMAX 3D starting January 26th, 2017. The picture will be released in 43 countries, including China, Japan, Germany, France and Italy. No word yet on a US release.

The film’s action scenes were done with a combination of visual effects and a live-action reference performances, but some of dangerous stunts were performed by the actors themselves.
