TRANSFORMERS Films Land Scribes

Akiva Goldsman’s Writing Team

Deadline broke the news that “The Walking Dead”‘s Robert Kirkman, Punisher: War Zone duo Art Marcum and Matt Holloway, Pacific Rim 2‘s screenwriter Zak Penn, and “Lost” alum Jeff Pinkner will fill out the roster of Akiva Goldsman’s Transformers team for all future installments of the robo-action series.

Frankly, my suspicion was that Transformers scripts were automated computer scripts. Great news from Paramount, they finally decided to hire writers. Lol. That’s hell of a good writing team and I really hope that Michael Bay, Steven Spielberg and Lorenzo di Bonaventura will start focusing on scripts from now on.

More scribes will reportedly be added, so get ready to spend all your future paychecks on this Cinematic Universe. The Transformers franchise has grossed over $3.7 billion worldwide so it’s no surprise that there’s spinoff talk about those robots-in-disguise and things they may or may not want to blow up.

It is also believed that Bay will go behind the lens for Transformers 5, which is due for release in 2017.
