‘Transformers: The Last Knight’ First Trailer is Total Bayhem

The Last Knight Banner

Paramount Pictures has unleashed the first trailer for Transformers: The Last Knight featuring scenes of a world at war. Plot details are currently being kept under wraps, but we know that it will involve King Arthur, Merlin, Nazis and Winston Churchill.

The screenplay is written by Iron Man scribes Art Marcum & Matt Holloway along with Black Hawk Down scribe Ken Nolan. A toy-driven blockbuster, directed with explosive enthusiasm by Michael Bay, arrives June 23, 2017, followed by the Bumblebee spin-off film on June 8, 2018, and the sixth Transformers movie on June 28, 2019.

The fifth film in the Transformers franchise includes the return of Mark Wahlberg, Josh Duhamel (woo!), Stanley Tucci, John Turturro and Tyrese Gibson, as well as new roles for Isabela Moner, Laura Haddock, Jerrod Carmichael, and Anthony Hopkins. Peter Cullen will once again provide the voice of Optimus Prime.
