Two Trailers for RIO, I LOVE YOU Anthology

Hot on the heels of World Cup, the first Rio, I Love You trailers have gone online. A series of short films set in the Brazilian city of Rio de Janero is the latest in the Cities of Love franchise, which includes the 2006 film Paris, je t’aime and the 2009 film New York, I Love You.

This latest city-loving omnibus film features direction from Fernando Meirelles (City of God), Carlos Saldanha (Ice Age, Rio), Im Sang-soo (The Housemaid), Stephan Elliott (Easy Virtue), Paolo Sorrentino (The Great Beauty), Guillermo Arriaga (Babel), Andrucha Waddington (Party Crashers), Nadine Labaki (Where Do We Go Now?), José Padilha (RoboCop, Elite Squad), and John Turturro (Fading Gigolo).


The stars like Vincent Cassel, Rodrigo Santoro, Jason Isaacs, Ryan Kwanten, Emily Mortimer, Harvey Keitel and more appear in the segments.

Rio, I Love You opens in Brazil on September 11th, while no US release date is set yet.It’s safe bet it’ll pop up during the fall festivals this year.
