VACATION Goes NSFW with a Red Band Trailer Debut

Reboot Of The 1983 Comedy

New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. have revealed the Vacation red band trailer and, you know, it looks better than expected.

The Griswolds are back on the road with a grown-up Rusty Griswold (Ed Helms) who opts to redo his childhood vacation to Walley World with his own family.

Horrible Bosses scribes John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein have penned and directed the reboot/sequel of the 1983 comedy classic National Lampoon’s Vacation. Yeah, this looks like fun and I love the connection to the original throughout. Helms might fill Chevy Chase‘s role from the original perfectly, but the surprise here is Thor star Chris Hemsworth who shows off his other magical hammer.

Check out the NSFW trailer below. Vacation hits theaters on July 29th and also stars Christina Applegate, Steele Stebbins, Beverly D’Angelo, Skyler Gisondo, Nick Kroll, Charlie Day, Kaitlin Olson, Regina Hall, and Keegan-Michael Key.

Following in his father’s footsteps and hoping for some much-needed family bonding, a grown-up Rusty Griswold (Ed Helms) surprises his wife, Debbie (Christina Applegate), and their two sons with a cross-country trip back to America?s “favorite family fun park,” Walley World.
