After The Cabin in the Woods co-writer/director Drew Goddard has left Daredevil, Marvel have started filling out the cast of their 13-episode Netflix series.

Following last month’s announcement of Charlie Cox in the title role of Matt Murdock/Daredevil, the show has found its primary antagonist Wilson Fisk, aka The Kingpin.

Marvel have revealed that The Law & Order: Criminal Intent veteran Vincent D’Onofrio is going bad for Daredevil. The infamous crime lord Fisk is described as “a powerful businessman whose interests in the future of Hell’s Kitchen will bring him into conflict with Murdock.”

Meanwhile, Goddard was replaced by Spartacus showrunner Steven S. DeKnight, but his scripts for the first two episodes will apparently remain the same.

Production on Daredevil is slated to begin this summer and debuts on Netflix sometime in 2015 along with Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Luke Cage, culminating in a Defenders miniseries.

Good choice, can’t wait to catch this on Netflix.
